You probably know that is a GXV140 engine on it. Honda utilities' model names start with HUT, followed by the cutting width, followed by the alleged gross horsepower of the engine. So, if that mower is 21" and if the GXV140 (5.0 HP) is original, it would be called HUT215. Here is a dealer's advertisement for an HUT215:

The mower frame may not be Honda at all, or the mower may be an HUT216 or HUT21R or HUT19R that has been re-engined. Note that the mowers with R on the end (for "residential", meaning not for commercial use) instead of a power figure have the appalling OHC engines, so re-engining might be on the cards for those.

Someone else may recognise that base. If not you might try cleaning it up and posting some close-ups.

Note that I cheated and posted a picture of an HUT215 after everyone had read my post which originally said I couldn't find one. Genuine replacement bases are available for the common catcher-type Honda mowers, so they may also be available for that one, but they are very expensive.

The GXV140 is probably my favourite Honda engine, it was a long-lasting sweet runner that was only made in the US so you know where it came from. Yours doesn't look that bad in the pictures except for the base itself, so you may be able to get a better second hand base and switch your good bits to it.

This may be a bit late in the day for the OP, but I have some ID data to add here, that may be useful to others.

The design features of the chassis and deck, lead me to believe that these were supplied to Honda MPE by SupaSwift, and are identical to their 'Big Bob' model.

The different peripheral items fitted to the Hondas were: wheels, upper handle loop and blade disc/blade assembly.
Honda wheels are different in appearance only; they are 200mm OD and 1/2" axle diameter, as are the SupaSwift BB wheels.

Some measurements to help with chassis/deck ID, related to the chassis rails; all measurements are centre-to-centre.
Chassis Rail spacing: 330mm
Front to middle deck bolt spacing: 170mm
Middle to rear ditto: 150mm

These are from a known original Big Bob, ca. 1985.

Cheers,
Gadge
