Hi all. I'm back. The Victa went. Instead of asking after the event, I'm getting in before I part with cash. Now I am wanting to find out all I can about the above mower fitted with a Honda 11 hp motor. I would like to hear from current, past, happy and unhappy owners, what to look out for, and are they a good machine. I have one on offer that is a one owner used for a town garden as far as I know. It will have been serviced, new battery, all filters, both belts and blades and will come from a Greenfield Dealer. Age is unknown at this stage. Looking forward to your replies, Glen.

Hi all. It would appear that the Greenfield Tractor 11 is not a good choice or nobody knows about them. I'm sure I am wrong on both counts. Still looking to hear from you. My offer time is running out. Please, some input. Glen.

G'day Glen,
I have never owned a Greenfield ride on, but their reputation is very good being a well made Aussie mower.
Not seeing an image and going off what you have said.
It has only been used on a town block, sounds like it has been looked after and a honda engine to boot.
I think you could do alot worse.

Hi Mark, Thanks for your reply. Do you have a ride-on, and if so, what type? Unfortunately I can't put a photo up as it is being traded in next week, then have a service and check and I'll get to see it next Friday. If it is a goer I'll put a photo up, come up with an engine number and any other info I can get and find out her age. Have a good weekend what's left of it. Cheers Glen.

Glen, I have 2 x Cox ride on's, one has a honda gv400 the other has a 12.5 hp B&S.
I like the cone drive system.
I also like the heel toe operation.
They are simple to repair also.
I have a friend who is mad for greenfields. I have only heard good things about them.
Cheers

Mark, My brother has a Colt Stockman 12hp. I've just returned from visiting him. He is very happy with his and has had no problems. It has the steel bonnet and has had it for at least 12 years. I tried it out and almost fell off 3 times and ran into a fence. Didn't hurt it though. I'm sure he was glad to see the back of me when I left. The Greenfield supplier lives local so that is one reason for looking at them. Cheers Glen.

Hi. Anyone out there own a Greenfield Tractor 11 and give me feed back on what they are like, any experiences, anything? Time on my offer is running out. Cheers Glen.

Anything australian made I have never head of major major dramas with, cox and then greenfield are the top of my list, the greenfield drive system generally only wears out belts or the cork clutches. beware of the australian branded ride ons that are really rebadged imports, such as victa labeled MTD's.

Hi all. First off thanks to the boys who relied to my post. I had a trial run with the Greenfield, found it to be a good machine except for the turning circle. I gave it a miss and picked up a Stiga with a good turning circle, in very good condition and practilly new. So, hopefully I will get a good run. Will let you know how it goes. Cheers Glen.
