had this a while just been looking for info on it . seems it might be @ 1940 ish . it has an 8blade reel and smooth roller the early ones did and later chenged to ribbed , a problem of slipping on grass ! as this one does . earlier had 6 blades later had 8 , but still cant pin it down . any hints ? i think its a webb witch , should have a grass box too but cant find one . looks like it fits like an atco , on 2 'pins' at the front Dave
Hi vccomm, I have done some research for you, these Webb hand mowers were made from the 1930's - 1980's under various names....Wasp, Witch, Whippet... Here is a manual for you, I hope it may come in handy.

thnks deejay , i think its a wasp looking at whats left of the sticker . only difference is the adjusting knobs you see are for the reel to blade roller adjustment is the same . its sort of why i think maybe 40's ish
not too heavy at all realy as the missus can pick it up ! maybe 10-15 kg ? sooo light and easy to use (if it didnt slip on wet grass) still looking for things for it , and one on ebay atm too better nick and with grass box Dave
