Yes Darryl I now know that feeling.I was just trying to help and the [Censored] thing was so buggered.That's OK still maybe able to assist.Thumb itself is all good but the nail just doesn't feel right and it's getting even more lose than what it was.Maybe I still could lose it.I'll have to wait and see.

you already assisted with advice and hints mate , thanks for that . still looking and finaly got the base back today so a good tidy of repair welds and hope its painted on the weekend . it will feel great when the nail comes right off . makes it feel lighter smile itchy as @%#* though . lol cheers

Can't wait to see the base painted.Yeah well hopefully the nail will fall of soon,but with my luck it won't as it is still growing.

grin i cant wait either , might even be warm enough to paint stuff and still havto clean it up again . been so damp suface rust got too it ! but no worries just be good to get it in almost one piece again

looks better in real life . and thanks for the help and advice jeffery , another member came to the rescue with an engine for it just need to change the crankcases . cheers2 Dave

That's looking very good.I wish mine was at that point.I'm glad some had a crank,as Ty hasn't had time to get me that engine as he is now preparing for his move of house.So far it's looking [Censored] good.

and good luck moving !! you guys seem realy busy lately doing that , i never wanna do it again . its getting a little closer to done , just wanted to see it almost together again , wrong engine though and still need to paint the cowling n stuff but looks ok smile when it warms up here then will be easyer . cheers [Linked Image]

its just sitting together atm . keep finding things i need ! (leaf guard) and stuff but its getting closer , same as most , not enough time now frown still the wrong engine and nothing bolted yet cheers

getting a lot closer to done , engine rebuilt with another crankshaft , rings bearings seals , started 1st pull !!! amazed me , just havto fid stickers and paint the toering then see if i can find some better wheels for the jigger . a happy guy now yay [Linked Image]

i dont want to change the subject but is there a utility like this that has like skirts around the bottom? we have one up in the shed looks similar but has like extra guards around the edges

laugh hadto use it atleast once , it runs and cuts great even with old blades on it by the time i finished it loosened up a lot too , still sounds new . even the missus yelled at me (aaaaaaall that time and look at the mess now !) hehehe its ok , cleaned up nice though woot

i just bought a cheap new one , at least its better than a phone . i got carried away a tad was all , but its a great thing and the engine loosened up nicely too and all cleaned up well now and put away so i dont get tempted again . yeh i will paint it i think , wait till i paint something else

amazing it looks a different colour though , same gun and paint it must change fast as it ages a tad cheers
