Hey all hope everyone is well
Today i dropped into my mates mower shop to get an old g4 for bits mainly a "set" of springs for a mower so i can restore idol.
anyway went out to the shed for a tinker.
turns out it has no decompressor return, it can accommodate a tube however no hole.
it seems factory it looks to perfect ?[Linked Image]

They arent that uncommon, mid 90's victa cheapened things up at one point and on the base model powertorques deleted the decompressor, used the short air filter and several other "cheaper is better mods".

G'day,
I have come across a couple like this only, the decompressor hole in the head is blanked off and the the head has a deeper dish (low compression head).
I had to helicoil a stripped plug in one of these because fitting a normal head was ripping the cord out of my hands.
I was told these were made for export overseas.
I actually like to feel the compression when I start this type.
Cheers

They certainly have some compression when they have the decomp blanked out i broke too many starter ropes .
