Hi Guys finally finished My SB 45 Project Today Here are some Pics of the final result. Iv'e goto say Its one of the most satisfying things I have ever done. (Dont Tell My wife) But really. My mower is better than new and will give me many many years of mowing pleasure. I know it inside and out and every single piece on it. Im wrapped. Now I dont want to use it. Thank you everybody who has contributed to giving me hints and tips along the way. This forum is fantastic. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2012/10/full-6062-8251-img_4768.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2012/10/full-6062-8252-img_4764.jpg)

It's a work of art more than a restoration - it looks a lot better than a new Scottie, and it should run and mow better as well, with that GX120 and the increased number of blades. I feel your pain at the idea of actually mowing with it, and risking it getting scratched and dirty. I don't think I could bring myself to do that.

Just awesome Jason, you should be justly proud of your work... on a great job, mate! We hope you will still be part of the forum Jason; many new members may want advice on the restoration of their Scotties and want to achieve your standard of resto. Again mate,

Today I stripped my scotty I'm about to restore with some help, where did you purchase that paint from? I've got a few cans of alpine green but that dark green looks pretty sweet!
Is it better to paint or power coat the cutting cylinder?

I'm not into this type of mower myself, but [Censored] that is one sweet mower. I can't believe your going to use it. If my rotary restores turn out half as good as that ill be happy. Well done excellent job you have done. Hope you do some more in the future.
Here for a good time, not a long time.
