MrJi, The machine only should go in a forward direction. If it is going backwards the belt is on incorrectly. Regards, Bruce

Hi Bruce
We have a Masport Commander
It has had a new Blade cover made.
Can you please tell how close tip of the blade should be inrelation to the bottom of the skert.

MrJi, Usually the blade should be approximatley a 1/4" inside the skirt. Regards, Bruce
