That's a very nice find Greg, Looks like she should come up nicely.
I know a fella who might be able to help with some more data on it, he has an interest in these and is over in England, I'll send him your pics and see if he has any interesting info on this one for you!
Cheers Ty

Thanks Ty, at the moment I'll just put it with the Royal Blade Deluxe. lol. Going by the decal, it might be a Made In England "Australian Special". The flag's only got the Union Jack in the upper left.
Cheers.

Hi Greg,
I've just started on a Qualcast Royal Blade Deluxe and I'd be interested in any info you can give me re: spares ie: clutch cone, drum, and carby.
I've posted some pics under the topic: 1957 Qualcast Royal Blade Deluxe and 'grumpy's' been helping me out seeing I started this restoration last Saturday - geez I've got some work in front of me haha
Cheers - would love to hear your thoughts

Hi Guys, the flag on the logo is the "White Ensign"...definitely British Navy....and gives it the nautical flavour a name like The Captain deserves. This machine is so British....it a wonder that it doesn't require a cup of tea before it starts!!

I wish I'd known you fifty years ago, Deejay. As it is, you finally tell me why my 1930s 12" ATCO was so hard to cold start - about 45 years after I sold it!

Thanks, don't forget the scones!!! hahaha.
As far as the Royal Blade goes, I have two engine parts books in paperback. Model M Type 45 and, Model 80 Type 71. Both J.A.P. engines, the only diference I have come across so far is the carb, although they look the same. I also have an operators manual/ parts list for the whole mower in PDF. However the book doesn't show any of the diferent parts for the dual drive, or the single roller drive like mine.
Cheers.
