1995 Quantum Motor - Not priming

Hi

I have been working on a 1995 Briggs Quantum motor.
The primer is not working.
I have removed and cleaned the carb, flushed the fuel tank and cleaned primer assembly.
However the primer still does not work.
Is there anything else that i can try??

Is the original gasket between the air filter housing and carby, it needs a genuine gasket there and not a home made one to work.

Thanks for the response, i don't think there is even a gasket there. I will check tomorrow and see.

Hi

I went down to the local mower shop and purchased a new gasket. Primer now works great and mower starts first pull.
