hi all just purchased a rover lawnmower with a suzuki two stroke engine,after a bit of maintenence such as a new ngk plug bpmr4a, new blades, removed tank cleaned inside and out with hot soapy water then blew out with compressed air then flushed with a small amount of methylated spirits, put it all back together also cleaned foam air cleaner boy was that dirty. then put in some 40 to 1 mix fuel , all i can say is the dont make them like this anymore it starts easily, runs superb and it idles great wished my victa ran as well,i dont think rover produce a mower with a two stroke any more? what a pity rgds graham vk5wk

I don't know why Rover stoped putting those engines on their frames as they are excellent motors. They run rings around the late model Victa motors.

You can still get some parts for them as well and if you want I can e-mail you a parts list.
