Picked these two up recently.

Got this one from the scrap yard. The diff is missing.

Not sure exactly whats happening to them yet.
Ideally one could be made up out of the two.

If I can find something of Value to you (perhaps parts to complete the second one) would you be interested in trading the "Mustang" auto drive, that's a 1973-4 MKII Auto, and happens to be the one I am looking for.

Cheers
Ty

Here i was thinking that they were both the same. But yeah i see it now.
If its a 73-4 MKII that means the diff i had here will fit it yes??
The other is a Mk4 what year is it then?? Other than the motor it looks exactly the same.
Ive got spare starters and stuff here. Ive evne got a catcher, its not much chop but would work.
The diff in the MkIV does not feel too happy, havent had much of a look at it yet.

You might end up with both the VC's yet Ty. Im not so sure i can be bothered doing up two SP's.
I dont think Jeffery has started collecting SP's yet. wink

Whats the other one ive got here???

Thats right, its a super power.
I think i might just stick with it.
A nice Faux MK80 with electronic ignition will be just the thing. I will have one here somewhere.

Id like to have a collection, well i do have a small collection, but i dont have the room.

Bob, the last one is a Power Plus self Propelled from 77-79, if you look back HERE theres all the stuff on it we worked out.

The Series 80 model I mentioned I would keep for you, I still have sitting at the back of my shed waiting to come along on the trip, so if you use the drive system of one, and the engine and chassis of the other, you should end up with a whole one.

Blumbly is also collecting the auto drives, and to be hones, he may have more intrest in no.2 as I am limiting my collection to the G3 era ones, to save space, while he is collecting all 4, he has 1, 2 and 4, and i have 1 (and only want one and 2) if you do decide to trade those two above, that would give me the 2 i am after and Blumbly all 4, completing both collections.

Cheers
Ty

Thought you might be.

I was too but along came a reality check.

I do have that diff here for the top one (mkII)
I would assume that the diff is gone as the engine was changed and theres no drive. maybe not. Havent looked.

As for the MkIV or LM or G4 or whatever it is, you would make that a whatever you want. The base is the same on them all isnt it??

I grabbed MKII as i had my eye on the other one on eBay. And i had the diff here, although i would like to do something with them i had you guys in mind.

As for the power plus. Should i keep it original with a MKIV. Or would a Series 80 with the alloy side pull be inapropriate?? I think i have a blank black top cover here without the zip start.

Cool I definitely can't wait to get there.I believe the bases where similar except for the first model, which had Auto Drive cast into the front of the base.
As for your question here(As for the power plus. Should i keep it original with a MKIV?)I would keep it as an original as you could. That's just my opinion.

Here for a good time, not a long time.
