I have aquired an old victa lawn mower
it was going
and still is technically
my problem is that the cord that is pulled to start it (please forgive my lack of technical skills) is damaged, well not damaged but messed up

i too off the starting cord part off the lawn mower and dont know which way it goes backo n, i can get it back on but there is a metal plate that i dont know which way it goes, is there any way that i could obtain a manual or diagram of the entire engine or just the starter bit, any feedbvack would be much appreiciated. I have researched and ascertained that the lawn mower is the

if that makes any difference? i have looked on the net and couldnt find it. Any help at all would be much appreicated.
