My trimmer runs awhile and stalls, sometimes it runs longer than other times. Sometimes it stalls and continues to run, other times it stalls out completely. What could be the problem and what do you suggest to resolve it?
First I presume you have checked the fuel tank for water and dirt, next is to clean the carb, putting in new gaskets and diaphrams and the inlet fuel screen filter, check the tank filter to see if it is clean. Another source of trouble that will cause this problem is a clogged fuel cap vent, best way is to put on a new cap.
