Just inherited a Victa model AF 055A-6 that I would like to rebuild as a project.

What service/overhaul manual would cover this model and where can I get one?

What is the easy way to remove the cutter disc so I can remove the engine from the mower deck?

I would like to use the engine to power a small water pump for a shallow bore (well). Has any members undertaken a project like this? Would welcome comments, thoughts, or suggestions.

The model of the mower is a Victa Pacer Power Torque made between 1986 and 1987. If you have a look at some of my posts you will be able to download information on the starter and carby at this stage. I am at present making a forum for information on the victa and other products.

Thanmks for the info Bruce. Can you give me the Gregory's manual number that covers the AF 055A-6 so that I can look for a used copy (maybe on e-bay)?

Best of luck getting a manual on ebay because you need one on power torque motors which would start from the 1980 on. Gregory's number 403 would be the first one you woulkd look for. We will in the future have information on the board regarding workshop manuals but it will take us about 4 months before we have it up to look at.
