At the wagga swap meet today there was so much to choose from but I fell in love with this big mk20 villiers when I saw it. The bloke wouldnt come down in price from $80 but I offered $100 for the mk20 and the other little norton-villiers pictured.
I do not think the mk 20 has been fired in decades, it does not even have the scent of fuel in the tank that most old engines do.
Its complete and in brilliant condition, I will try and run it this week sometime.

Thanks Darryl!, I have to do the points on it, she has no spark. The little norton villiers runs sweet as with an external fuel tank.
for such a chunky engine they dont pack a lot of power and are pretty heavy. Anyhow I am eager to have both runing properly and put them on the shelf in my sheds collection.
I have my eye on a little JAP engine we spotted on the way to Dubbo, $50 working.
That Villiers looks pretty damn good, Let us know how you go with it!
Cheers Ty

Bought it on eBay on the off chance it was a Mk25.
Havent even looked at it as yet. Its a heavy sucker.
Not sure what to do. Im looking for a Mk25HS, seriously considering just using a G65 honda but im a bit worried about the extra HP of the honda destroying the machine. G65 is near on double the Mk25HS.
Just did a cross reference. Might just go with a G200 or a GX160. Both are about the same HP as the Mk25 and half the weight. Will just keep the Mk25HS there so it could go back on to make the machine original again.
