Hi,

I've just replaced the carby after cleaning and replaciing o-rings. It doesn't leak. However, now I have no spark. I've removed both wires from the carby (in case they were not properly installed) - still no spark. the various wires seem ok - no broken insulation, connectors still firm.

Any idea? Thanks.

Mike@Narellan,

What type of engine is it? Power Torque / 125cc or 160cc.

If it is a power Torque I would be checking the electronic module to make sure that it is not loose which will give you a bad earth.

It's a 160cc, green Conquest (I think that was its name) about 1987 vintage. The electronic module is secure - appears to be riveted on! Not sure how you'd replace it.

Thanks.

Mike@Narellan,

Is the module a gold colour? If so I would replace it.
