Can anyone please help. I was given a Rover self propeeled mower & am trying to find out the model. I also want to know if i can use it for mulching.

Hi Dazza, and welcome to Outdoorking. Can you post some pictures of that mower please, and some other information. Does it have a Briggs and Stratton engine? If it does, please post the very long string of numbers, divided into 3 groups, that you will find on the engine. Depending on model and age, they will probably be on the cooling air cowl.

Please include in your next post any numbers you can find on the chassis, it should have a data plate or stamped serial number and perhaps a sub-model ID....also cutting width may help narrow it down.

I too have just aquired a older style Rover Model 6012 Self propelled, the other number on label is 120088 i presume this is adate code?. The engine number is 114782 0140-01 85121808.

I am chasing a parts listing for this model as I require a few of the parts for the self propelled function. Is it possible to post it on the manuals section?.
