I'm looking for a source for parts for my MAC 15RT line trimmer.

Specifically, I need a knob assembly, part #300736. I've tried to find a local McCulloch dealer but most are discount/department stores with no service departments or part facility.

I've simply worn the top off of this one. Otherwise, it is a fine machine. Should I order more than one for future use or purhaps a complete string head assembly Prt #300651? How often do these parts fail with regular home use?

It seems to vary from user to user on how often they wear. Depending how often you use the unit, what terrain you work on, etc.
