That red catcher is a good find. Appart from the lightweight and twin i would say its the rarest catcher of the lot. It looks like its in good order too.

With the VC's and the later mustang im sure you will be looking at getting a red and white one together for the collection.

No I didn't go down way to [Censored] tried.I had my scouts out collecting for me.Well the only thing I really need from the corvette is the Impulse starter and cover.I'm not sure if it has the same carby or not.So maybe that.Other than that I don't think there would be anything else from it that I need.So if you want the rest just let me know.('in my pants')It's ok guys nothing rude or crude. It's just when you spend over 30 hours in a car you find things (Sayings) that just make you laugh.A lot.

"Theres a windmill in my...

Sound good mate, I'm just after the engine itself, so if you neet the carby & starter, that will not effect me.

Cheers

Nice find on the little orange utility, I am quite fond of them myself and have a really good one in my shed for myself (the other 2 are on offer to you and Ty) You just need to find a good white mustang cowling and you will have both a white and a green one laugh

I think the bases are the same, some were 125's and some were 160's some also had the small fuel tanks and some had big fuel tanks with the plastic bit on the cowling at the front like yours is missing wink....

Bob, I beleive that was an optional gaurd for rocky areas, or to simply make dispersal even, like the toe-cutters.

A bit like an early mulching concept, I beleve some customers were happier with the even-dispersal of the toe cutters, and so Victa released this for them, to give them the option to 'Go Back'

Actually they are printed on photo paper and laminated , stuck on with very thin double sided tape , wouldn't leave them out in the weather for too long , most of my mowers are not used , only started up every now and then .I do use a couple of 80's utilities and my BITSA regularly ,the bitsa has a four blade baseplate which gives it enough thrust out of the shute to get a jumbo jet off the ground .(nearly)

Would you be able to show us a few close up photo's of the stickers, I would like to see how this has come out.

Also, your comments on the bitsa have left me with a rather funny mental image, a bit like Mary Poppins but with a mower!

Cheers
Ty

Hence why I am imagining a person with a flying mower!

Alwil, the sticker quest has been something on a few minds here for some time, many of the machines we are restoring need new stickers, so we would love to see some close ups of your work.

We have a few people here trying out different things, I have heard of a laser printer sticker set, and since i have a laser printer, i will be testing it out soon, if it works, I will get a colour laser printer!

Hopefully your work can provide us with some hints with how to do this!

Cheers
Ty
