Hi there, can anybody help me fix this prob? I've got a Victa commando about 3 years old and i've got fuel squirting out of the primer. There appears to be some oil leaking nearby as well. Thanks in advance.

drenty, You will need to replace the carby needle or float. I have sent you information on the carby. Regards, Bruce ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/board/biggrin.gif)

Hi Guys,
I have just acquired a victa 2-stroke mower with the plastic carby, and same deal - that being fuel squirting out of the primer. Any chance of getting any carby information as the mower has been sitting idle for many years, and could probably do with a rebuild. I've tried looking for a service manual everywhere for the last two weeks with no luck, but just came across this board while searching on google...!
Thanks.

Thanks for that Bruce. I now have the mower starting (although rather difficult to get going) and running. The needle was simply sitting in the fuel bowl rather than installed correctly!! Now that it is running, it sounds like it has an ignition fault, that being at high revs it misfires alot! I'm not sure if that is normal for a 2 stroke or not as I've never owned one. Either way I guess I'll rebuilt the carby and see what happens after that. Thanks again ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/board/smile.gif)
