Hi All,
I have tried everything to try and get my twin running again. I just tried the two single coils in series over the weekend however it still refuses to start, I got a couple of firings but not enough to keep it running. When I have the plugs out of the chambers they are sparking.
What else can I do ? Is there anymore infomration on setting up with twin coils ? I really don't want to have to break the machine up for scrap value however the boss (ie. wife) is demanding an outcome or else !!!
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Romesh

Romesh Check the spark is it yellow or blue. Have you checked the seal on the bottom of the shaft(is it wet). Regards, Bruce ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/board/biggrin.gif)

Hi Bruce,
Checked the botom seal last night, it was dry so I will put the blade back on tonight I hope and check the spark out.
Will post my findings ASAP. Thanks again.

Bruce,
Put the blade plate back on last night and checked the spark. Sometimes when I pulled the cord there is no spark and other times I get a spark but it seems to be yellow. I pulled out the pulgs and earthed both of them on the chassis and check the spark that way.
Any ideas ? I am running the two single coil set up as my original coil is shot.
Thanks for your help

What does it mean when the spark is yellow ?
Can you use the electronic ignition module from the power torque engines on the twin when running twin coils ???
Thanks

Victa twin 700 When the spark is yellow it usually means that the points, condensor or module are faulty.
If you use the search feature on the board you can find out a lot of information regarding the twin motors.
