I agree Bob. It would have been possible for Briggs to assemble them, but i doubt it happened, since the whole deal fell apart over exchange rates only four years after the start of the joint venture. Incidentally I think the parties only "got together" over selling it, it was a Komatsu design. There is a strange logo on the base of the cylinder, that looks like a Briggs logo with the words missing. That could easily have been added to the die on the ones made for Briggs (an insert, like the Victa brand on certain lawn sprinklers).

OK I guess in that case,I now don't want to borrow kitty to do cat scan.Sounds far to dangers.OK I'll let you all get back to working this out.Not to good myself on the Briggs.I'm more of an early Victa 2 stroke man.Need any help with them just let me know.Good luck with kitty.

How is the restore going Numbat?
I'm very curois about this one, I had no idea until now that Briggs did a 2-stroke.

G'day blokes Been very slack the last couple of months, nothing has happened on the rebuild, the spiders cockroaches and goodness knows what else has moved into the shed, I am thinking seriously about just giving it away to a good home. Ian
if a hammer doesn't fix it, the problem must be electrical
