What is the length of the cable, you might find one from a series 70 utility mower might go damn close to fitting as they have the cable go straight down the handlebar to the engine as the twin does.

Id probably have a cable here that would work if you can give me a length. (the little one is missing the handles though Same as the electic??? Ive got handles on the one ive got here. Not much point keeping the mower as i will never find a catcher. Probably best to scrap it. I had thought about making up a mulcher plug for it.

I have had a look around here for you Jeffery, But so far no luck.
If we can get the length, you may even find some in the store.
I got on to Bruce about the VC-160 cable (Yellow) and there suppliers dont carry them anymore, but he is checking if there is any left in stock.
Cheers Ty

[Censored] that's not good then.I guess if he has some then I would need at least 3 for now.I guess it depends on how many he has got,if any.I suppose if he only has say 6 I would get them all and have some spares.I'm getting worried now.I was hoping he had some.As I only ever got one of my 3 (The mark III) and you seen how stuffed that one was.Fingers crossed come on Bruce you can do it.

Yes I did thanks Rodeobob, and I got it almost dead straight you can hardly tell it was even bent.I haven't put it back in yet.I will a little later today.I suspect that it will work a lot better now.It was in bad shape.

Looks to me like maybe it got bent while fitting the carb to the motor.
Not sure but the twin looks like its up high enough, some of the old g4's you need to pull the rubber elbow off the carb before removing it as turning the carb with it on squishes it all up and stuff.

Yeah could have been.I noticed it when I first pulled it apart.I scratched my head and thought maybe it should have been like that, but after putting it back together and noticed that it didn't work correctly. So that was the point I realized it wasn't right.Have fixed it up.Fairly good you would hardly know it was bent.I just haven't put it back on twin (Goliath).Ended up catching a [Censored] cold. Not happy about that.Sat me on my bum all day today.[Censored] colds.

Does any body know of the best place to get fuel lines to fit the Twins.I'd like to get maybe a roll. Not just a 1 metre length. After all they will pretty much fit most other mowers as well.

Best guess would have to be a wholesaler, places like ga spares sell 50m rolls. I am almost certain though you have to be a business to purchase off them.
There was somone selling rolls of victa fuel hose on ebay, it was grey though, a friend of mine got some and it was not tolerant to fuel at all, cracked and perished within weeks of use.

I bought some line of an eBay seller a while back, he lists as 1m buy now, and you can just select to buy X quantity, I got 2m, came as one continuous piece.
I'll dig him up and see if he still has any.
Cheers Ty

Cap does have some scratches though, like it has been dragged on the ground.Haven't fitted cable yet,or checked on other bases progress.Didn't get back from the coast until late today. So I didn't get a chance to find out.
