G'day

I have a Victa 2 stroke Mulch or Catch which is about 7yrs old. It has a plastic carby which was leaking around the rim. I replaced the O ring but is leaking even more now with it coming out of the hole in the primer button. ( could have been before and I didn't notice )and still leaks through the O ring. Looks like I may not have put this back on correctly. Hope you can help , thanking you....( next day ) Looks like I've sorted the carby out, but now I've got a problem with the throttle,(or it still might be the carby) my son loosened the screw and moved it, now I'm having problems resetting it. The mower does start but only for about 2/3 seconds. Hope you can help.

I have sent you some information on the carby.
Note that I am sure that when you took the primer cap off you lost the needle which will cause it to leak fuel from the hole in the primer cap.

The information that I have sent has details on what you have to do to stop the leaking.

Thanks very much for the info you've sent me.Unfortunatley I've problems with my computer at the moment and I'm unable to download the "pdf" file.( I do have Acrobat Reader ) As it happens I've put the mower in the workshop for repair. It looks like I need a new carb body. Looks like I stuffed the thread up where the screw valve holds the primer cover on. Once again many thanks for your time and help.
