started restoring my other victa sherline today, got the base, cowling, starter, mesh and tank painted. the motor that was on this was stuffed so ive got one comming which should be hear next week to overhaul.

looks great,mine is still in the wrong color.
i have only done the motor
is this the second type as mine has a different
cowling/fuel tank

very nice mate, i need to get some catchers for mine

i have a second catcher for the four star but the condition is not as good,missing the mesh.
were there two types of sheerline?

Perry, what is the name of the paint or is it something you mixed yourself? Looks to be hammertone & did you spray or brush it on?

its white knight alpine green hammer tone with a custom tint i made up, do you want the mix numbers?

And stevej, Yes, there were 2 sheerlines, Model 6, and Model 9.

i thought i was close to the victa green used on the 18s, sherline and four star.

hi Perry, i noticed in the pics that your other sheerline is also a model 9(thanks Mr Davis).if you wanted to have one of each model,i have a spare model 6 tank that is pretty good (some easily repaired tabs are bent as per photo)if you want it.let me know and i will organize getting it sent to you

update,

well its starting to come along, motor has a new set of rings and gaskets. handles are on(just need ro straitin up and need to find the propper back handles

i havent been on hear for a while, been too buys with planning our wedding. the mower is just about complete, brought another muffler and some blades so ill post up some pics in the next few days
