gidday i have a commodore that i have just been given by the neighbor it was running last week quite nicely as he woke me up with it, anyway it has started leaking fuel from the carby so i rang dealer to put in for service but cant get in for 8 days so i got parts my self but the only thing is that the mechanic has described a different set up. he said it doesnt have a needle and seat.So how does it regulate fuel flow? could anyone please help asap with a diagram of carby please so i can rebuild it i have a kids party in my back yard this weekend and need to do it today thankyou to anyone who could please help
Scottyk, I have sent you part of a workshop manual that should help with the carby problems. As to the mower shop telling you that it does not have a needle and seat I would be looking for someone that is qualified because he does not seem to know what he is talking about.
