I recently found a "Myer Special" Victa Lawnmower and have pulled apart the carby and have cleaned it and put it back together, however the mower floods now that I have put the carby back. I was wondering whether someone could send me some info on the carby or help me with this problem.
Its the black plastic carby, and the motor is a Series 70, 2 Stroke, Mark 4, 125cc.

Also I have had the problem of petrol coming out of the primer hole. I have done a search and taken the advice of some members, so I bought a new primer cap, new needle, new jet, new float, and still coming out! I am at my wits end, and i dont know what to do next, surely someone out there can help me. Also can someone email me the correct setup of the carby? My email is lukeandkel@hotkey.net.au
Cheers

ekul, Glad to here that all is ok now for you. I have tried to improve the Board so that it is easier for people that have registered to use as they get any replies directly e-mailed to them. People that do not register don't get replies e-mailed to them like registered users. Regards, Bruce ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/board/biggrin.gif)

I took every part off and cleaned it, and also took apart the carby, my main problem with the fuel coming out of the primer, was i had repacked the carby wrong. I put a spring in the fuel section of the carby, but when bruce gave me the info and showed me exactly how the carby goes back together, it didnt do it anymore and the mower is just fantastic. Received this old mower for free, spent $18 for some new carby parts, and now i have a great mower!
this site rocks!

Bruce, can you please send me information on how to rebuild the carby for an old victa 125 cc. it has the small cogs behind a piece of metal, and a rectangular floatation bulb cover, and if you have any information on how to time the magneto that would be helpfull. thanks

It sounds like the same problems I had with my old Victa Mustang. Bruce could you please send me the info for the plastic carby, etc.? <font face="verdana, arial, helvetica" size="2">Originally posted by ekul: I recently found a "Myer Special" Victa Lawnmower and have pulled apart the carby and have cleaned it and put it back together, however the mower floods now that I have put the carby back. I was recently given a Victa Lawnmower which I pulled apart and cleaned. It has since started but the carburettor needs to be set as it tends to surge and does not respond well to the throttle control. There is a very real chance that the throttle mechanism and vacuum valve unit are assembled incorrectly. The carburettor is metal with a white plastic float chamber, but I cannot adentify the motor. There is a "160" sticker on the front and a "series 70" sticker on the side.
Help, please...

You need to post this question as a new topic in order to get a reply as it is a different machine that you are talking about. Hi Bruce. I have been reading the posts about the Victa Lawn Mower Carbies on your Bulletin Board. Are you able to email me some information about the Carbie assembly and snorkel unit for the Victa 2 Stroke Lawn Mower? Just my carbie floods and I have a fiddly time getting the snorkel to fit back in the right position. Talk soon. PS: email dixon.sybil@gmail.com Dixon <font face="verdana, arial, helvetica" size="2">Originally posted by Bruce: ekul, I have e-mailed you the required information regarding the carby and how it is to be assembled etc which should solve your problems.
