I bought one last year and now I've lost the instructions. Can anyone tell me what grade of oil it uses? And where I can get a new set of instructions?

Assuming it is a four stroke engine, it uses a monograde sae 30 engine oil. made by Briggs and Stratton, but can be used in any air cooled 4 stroke engine. and can be got at most mower repair shops. try not to use multigrade motor vehicle oil as the engine will prematurely wear
Feel free to ask any further questions

Regards,
Ben

Oh sorry. I should have thought of that. It is actually a two stroke engine. Does that need a special two stroke oil?

Thanks for taking the trouble to answer.

I see that you live in England. I Live in Australia. so my reccomendations may be different. I use Castrol 2T 2 stroke oil mixed at 25 parts to 1 or 200mls to 5 litres petrol. which is what Victa reccomends in Australia. (Instructions should be on the bottle) Another good 2 stroke oil is Mobil 2 stroke mixed at the same ratio as above. these oils may not be availible where you are, so I reccomend you ask at your local petrol station or Mower service & repair shop about what 2 stroke oils are availible. But it should be the same 25/1 mixing ratio

Hope this Helps.

Regards Ben
