hi have a homelite 2020 snipper that worked fine and then started with problems, It seems that it will not prime ie suck the fuel through when you pump the bulb, i have checked that the lines in the tank a connected which they are.
so when you push down bubbles come out in the fuel tank, then when you let let go you hear a sucking sound "air" bu t no fuel comes through to the primer bulb??

The primer should not pump air back to the fuel tank - it has a non-return valve to prevent that. It sounds as if you have a stuck inlet valve in the primer, or perhaps a suction air leak between the tank and the primer.
