My 1987 Victa Bronco PowerTorque recoil starter spring has broken. I have taken the starter assembly off, but cannot see how to remove the nut on the rope pulley as it is recessed into the pulley. 1) Any suggestions? 2) Must the oring onto the crankcase be replaced as well?

Docker, If you e-mail me under spare parts this site I can forward you directions from the workshop manual on how to remove the starter. Yes you do need to replace the 'O' ring. Regards, Bruce ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/board/biggrin.gif)
