Hi All
I have a Tecumseh motor on an outboard leg that needs a carby
I need to identify the motor first of course . It has a small tag with the following on it as the only ID i can find .
T-643-12 and another number which is 6074116.
This motor seems to have been put on what i think is an Asko leg and the only other ID i can find seems to be the name seamaster. I have been told that the motor is from a lawnmower lineage and was assembled on the outboard leg in Australia ??
Can anyone assist

I've seen this question asked here previously, and I don't recall that anyone had a clear answer. If the motor is a 2-stroke Tecumseh there is a good chance it uses the same carburetor as their 2-stroke lawnmower engine - especially if it was a local job of just fitting bought-in parts together in a small factory. I have the impression that 2-stroke Tecumseh engines are fairly uncommon here in Australia, though not unheard of. You may find someone ready to wreck one that has problems with parts other than the carburetor.
