hi everyone, i have dismantled the g4 carby of a mates powertorque. when i took the part out where the throttle cable connects onto i noticed there was no small brass washer between it and the main housing.the mower wasnt running when he brought it here. i'm just cleaning things up to put it back together and wondering if i should put a washer back, all the ones iv'e seen have had one. i didn't think the engine would idle without it. can some one help me on this, thanks micka

I have had some with and without, I dont think it matters all that much really, as the one you are fixing was probably running without it for a fair while also.
