I'm about to buy a new 2st mower at the end of the week and went into a Victa "GOLD DEALER" and was shown a Corvette 500, with a VSX160 engine, mulching etc, looks pretty nice, only thing is, I can only find very limited information on the net, I am hoping someone can help me?
My other choice was a ROver 2 stroke with a suzuki engine, but after looking at it, it looked rather flimsy (the body) compared to the Victa.
I am open to any other suggestions?
Looking to spend about $500

Rick, Take some good advice and get the Rover as the engine will outlast the Victa two stroke twice over. You see the victa is only a half crank motor and all the stress is on the blade side. The victa needs to be run at full RPM's to get any real life out of it whereas the Rover engine is a full crank like the old Victa's that lasted twenty plus years.
