I managed to pick up three Victa 18's on the weekend.

All three bases are aluminium. Two have a long narrow groove on the right hand side which I am told is to mount an edger attachment, the other does not have this groove. A height adjustment is on the LHS. None have a recoil starter althought there are holes to mount one so that must have been an optional extra.

Can anyone tell me if this is the case ? Are the edger attachments still available ?

What year models would these be (I suspect late 50's)? They have the Victa Logo cast into the base with the round tank mounted on the rear of the motor.

Does anyone know the correct colour scheme ? Currently 1 is in blue hammertone, 1 is in green hammertone and the remaining 1 looks like a heritage green.

Regards,
Dave Judd

Dave,
I have sheets showing the different model of the early victa mowers. If you require them just e-mail me under spare parts this site and I will forward it on my return in a week.
