Hi

So it's time I get myself a brushcutter rather than borrowing one all the time.

The two closest shops, one sells Maruyama (used to do lots of shindaiwa and qualified as a gold dealer but they can't justify the $)

I have used a stihl FS-110 before and it's 1kw so that's what I am basing my power on.. also, must have the bicycle style handle bars and full harness.

The BC3021H-RS is $729, 30.2cc, 1.2kw, 5.8kg, 800ml tank, and the start assist thing. All made in Japan. only interesting thing is that is states a 40:1 fuel ratio, I thought most 2 stroke gear was 50:1.

Has a 5 year warranty for domestic use.

Basically just looking for any feedback or experience people might have with this brand.

The shop that sells echo had one for $795 I think and it had less power and was heavier. But I start to question the recommendation when the stores have to maintain sales volume to keep their dealership status.

Have a great day!
