I have an 8 hp gas powered Kemp shredder that I purchased new in 1990, then has to store it barely used until last year. I have tried to contact the Kemp Company that used to be in Lititz, PA. but am having no luck. Does anyone know what happened to the Kemp Shredder Company and how I might contact them? logardenparty@mindspring.com

I too own a Kemp and am looking for parts. I have been searching a variety of places on Web and have phoned number in owners manual but to no avail. If you have any luck can you clue me in as well? Thanks.

I am sorry to report that Kemp went out of business several years ago. They mailed out a notice to "registered" owners of their equipment. I will try to dig out the name/address of the company that took over their operation, at least as far as supplying spare parts.

Hey guys thanks a lot, Chip for posting his manual query and Ron for his agility in finding that address. Only today my dad asked me for the manual for the Kemp Chipper shredder model K4CH which was not supplied when given to me by one of my customers two months ago. I left it at my dad's house and told him to have fun bringing it back to new. Well he only began yesterday as he has begun some vacation. I told him I might find this on the net. Well I didn't think it would have happened so quickly Bravo!!! Bravo!!!!!!! I now will write to the address supplied and request a manual. P.s. I only signed up with this site today would you believe!
