Does anyone know of a chipper/shredder that has a brake on the flywheel or motor to stop it once it has been shut down or put in neutral. (much like a mower or snow blower). Also does anyone know of a Chipper/shredder that has a clear guard to see it the flywheel or drums are still moving before one puts there hands near it.

Do Not disengage the chipper/shredder until after the engine is shut down. This will work as a brake stopping the chipper/shredder as soon as the engine stops turning. "Also by letting the chipper/shredder spin to a stop,the bearings will last only half as long as they`re made to"
