Hi,

Just wondering if a Victa self propelled mower should be hard to push while it's not running. I have to resort to lifting it slightly and pushing it on it's front wheels.

Didn't think it should be like this, but i'm new to self propelled mowers so not 100% sure.

When running, the self propelled works fine, I actually think it is too fast, think it might be the starter o ring.

Thanks

victa,

What model self propelled are you talking about or even better post a picture of the mower?

You should be able to push the mower with ease when not in drive mode. cheers2

This is it. Also any more info on it would be great, how old is it. Is it looking mostly original at the moment?

Thanks

I've checked the belt, and it's loose so that is not causing the problem. What else should I be looking at?

I have an old vc160 self propelled that seems hard to push at times as well. Never really looked into the problem though frown
