Hi all,
I have a Briggs two stroke and am wondering whether anyone has any service manuals or relevant info on them. I have had a browse thought the manual area and canοΏ½t locate any. I can provide model numbers if needed but its raining outside and the Fotty is about to start!

I have one also, it is mounted on a masport base, one day I will restore it. I would be keen to see pics of yours if you take some. Ill show you mine if you show me yours  LOL

G'day,
it got mega compression but wouldnt run on anything but choke so i assume it needs a carby clean which i may do later tonight.
i think the vulcan bases were made by the same mob as masport (same catcher)of superswift, this one was made for msaa. it is a very ugly but extremely solid base, but that is not the original engine. it had a 3.5 vertical pull from memory.

Yeah my vulcan has a white 3.5hp vertical pull motor with the round air filter. I will go take some pics of my masport soon

G'day,
That looks like a good solid mower. I got stuck into it last night and fixed it. Turned out to be the coil. It now runs real sweet! amassing how well they do run for a 2 stroke. (Accept a stuck governor arm! (I disconnected it)).
Hey Joe my base had exactly the same engine on it, white with round duel element air filter!
