Can anyone give me a rough idea of when this 17 inch ATCO was built? It has a Suffolk 75 and the classic cylinder type tank with the ATCO logo (both are receiving a little TLC at the moment).
Cheers,

Hi Mark_x11, What a great little machine you have there. I gather the Ransomes catcher was the one supplied when you got the mower...if so you will need to source an original which was made from aluminium. The 'ATCO' decals are available from Rustic Spares at http://www.rusticspares.com.au/

From my collection of Atco brochures and associated paraphernalia it would appear that production of the Suffolk engined Atcos commenced in (or about) 1964. All of the other materials that I have show the Atco range being fitted with Villiers engines prior to 1964. It is noted however that the 1964 Atco 20" HD model remained Villiers powered.
