Hi All,
I recently purchased a 20' SB 45. It is the older type model 45 with a one piece (bolted on) top deck. The rear roller is in 3 pieces - 2 standard rollers as per a 17' and 3' piece in the middle.
Does anyone have any advice on how to get the rear roller bearing and bearing housing off on the non drive end?

Hi TJ1, Congrats on you owning a Scotty 45, I really would like to be able to help you with your query, but I haven't needed to remove my rear roller, all still going fine..... However, we do have the Scotty manuals in the "Parts Lists and Manuals" topic on the forum....you will need to subscribe, Just click "My Stuff" on the toolbar above, scroll to "Suscriptions" click and follow the prompts....easy peasy!! The exploded diagram may give you a clue on disassembly.

Thankyou gents,
Deejay - it's no problem on a 17" like yours, I'm just buggered by this 3 piece roller.
Bruce - The whole thing is out of the machine - I've got the the sprocket and drive side roller off, but I'm snookered by the small 3" roller in the middle. I've either got to get that off or pull off the bearing and bearing housing off the other end.

TJ1 can you post a picture of the rear roller because I want to identify what you are talking about. I will then tell you how to remove it.
