Does anyone out there have any info on Briggs Stratton 2 stroke engines?
Also most important of all what is the correct mixture?
Thanks allot!

I have one, it has a lot of power, not sure on mixture, I think it is 50:1, I ran mine on 25:1 though.

G'day,
Thanks Bruce and Joe!
The one im looking at seems to have ALOT of compression, is this typical for these engines? Also are they worth anything or better to keep for a contracting engine?
I would be guessing they are pretty good quality?
Thanks allot,
Regards jay

Jay I have not used the B&S 2 stroke for contracting but would think that they would be ok for that purpose. I have over the years used the briggs four stokes for contracting especially the old 5hp that just kept going and going. Used to use it for the rough jobs that needed an engine with plenty of grunt.

Hope this help you. cheers2
