hi all
through the week i bought a flymo mower with a suzuki engine. can anyone tell me if they came out with these engines. i thought only rovers had them but the way it fits on is pretty convincing. i thought i might put the suzuki on a rover frame i have and fit the flymo up with a four hp brigs i have and sell it, that way i will gain another rover suzuki. cheers micka

I have never seen a suzuki engine on anything else than a rover base. I believe they were specially imported by rover for their mowers. You may get more resale on a 4 hp brigs too.

yeh thats all ive ever seen them on. ive never had much to do with flymos to know if they come with 2 stroke or four,but the brigs idea sounds all good to me. i dont really know why but i have a soft spot for the suzuki and dont like parting with them, every one around here keeps asking what i;m gunna do with them, simple answer ...dunno cheers micka

The mower with the suzuki engine comes from the USA note that it looks the same as the flymo.
