Found this around the corner from home.
[Linked Image from i31.photobucket.com]

The body has surface rust but is still in good condition but the motor has HAD it.

It is a 3.5 HP Briggs and has 'Quantum Power' on the top of it.
The piston has separated from the conrod and i can't be bothered fixing it. So as long as it fits... i will put a Victa motor on it instead and give it a coat of paint and i'm sure i have a catcher to fit it too.

If anyone wants anything from the motor let me know before i scrap it on sunday.

Looks more like a 4 or 5hp to me

I have one exactly like it, bit rattly and loud but did the job when I used to use it.

G'day,
i agree with joe its more like a 4, becuase the 3.5's had a vertical pull. if its just a matter of a con rod im sure someone on the forum would have one laying around. i have one of them in a 4 hp and its a great engine, one im not prepared to sell anyway!
anyway i dont throught out ANYTHING!
regards Jay
