My steam roller arrived yesterday, nice build quality &
fun to tinker with. (don't need batteries for this one)





Steam engines could become addictive!!

Hi gmax, what a fabulous machine. I bet you can't wait to fire it up, and you're right; they are addictive!!
I have a Wilesco D20 stationary steam engine which I hope to mount on a purpose built board and get some of the many accessories it can drive....I will give it a badly needed clean and post some pics. Congratulations mate, I know 'Ol Smokey will give you hours of fun.....and their great to fire up when the young kids are around as well!!

I have fired it up, that's mine on the youtube video , your right Bruce my kids love it, but my wife loves it even more.
She wants to get some more accessories for it. I wonder if i can get a steam powered chainsaw?..

yet, I will get some when the value of the Australian dollar increases.

Hi Wayne, I notice the value of the dollar going up at present, I hope to get a couple of Wilesco accessories for the D20, I will check "Station 500" on e-Bay and see what he has on offer.
Do you still fire up 'Ol Smokey?
