Hey guys, (great forum)
Not sure what model this Victa is, has a green pressed steel base, with a red/orange fuel tank cover which has "Victor Power Stroke Engine".
The pull cord broke and am trying to get the pulley off to thread a new one on. The black plastic pulley is bolted to an aluminium sub frame which is held onto the block with 3 bolts. Under that you can see the crank, and the little mechanism that allows the pulley to engage with it, but I can't seem to undo the pulley's large bolt without possible damage to that mechanism.
Help.

(while I'm waiting for a response, time to repair the [Censored] whipper snipper I guess)

I have to say, the internet is bloody wonderful.
Thanks Joe, now I see it it's obvious, should have seen it immediately. Am off to try it now.
Many thanks.

No worries, I made that video a while back for someone, you wouldn't believe how many pull starters I have sold off wrecked machines after some have tried "repairing" them and ended up completely wrecking them.
