hi every one
i'm having trouble starting one of my suzuki mowers.you have to pull your guts out about twenty times and then it just might start.its got me beat, i've cleaned the carby, made sure the choke is getting full travel, fitted top and bottom seals.the spark is a bit on the dull side, but should be ok to fire it. the spark is constant, i've had worse at times and been ok. i havn't had a compression guage on it but it seems to have plenty when you turn it over. ive checked fuel flow, air cleaner etc. when it does eventualy start its as good as, i cant seem sort this one out except, strip it down and do the whole thing up, thanks micka

Hi mika,
Have you checked weather it chokes fully or whether the flywheel key is sheared?, If its good I would think about checking the exhaust port and muffler for blockages. If all else fails I would start to look at the amount of fuel thats getting thought, as it may be a simple blocked jet ect. I would think that the spark would be sufficient because it does fire and run after 20 pulls. Hope this helps
Regards jay

micka,

If you have movement in the crankshaft the seals will be gone again. It is easy to check if the bearings are worn by just holding the blade plate and see if you have any sideways movement. If so replace the bearings and I would also replace the rings at the same time.

We will have a kit in the online store soon so keep a look out because we are updating all the time with new products as request are made. cheers2
