G'day All,
I have an old Victa 2 Stroke that belongs to my daughter. The recoil spring has failed and I'm trying to identify the engine so that I can order a new one for her. What I have is:

Sticker on the chassis says it's a Tornado 500 Mulch and Catch
Crankshaft part # EN02081A
Starter Pulley # ST12644A
Starter Housing # ST12803A

Sticker on the air intake:
Model # T?S482AA
Serial # 0?222AA2275
FG # N12437

Stamp on the engine base plate 23 E 07

I think it's a power torque engine?

I've searched high and low but I can correlate any of these part numbers. If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it!

All the best,
Darren,.

Millions of old PT's kicking around I would have over a hundred motors sitting around here most with pullstarters on them. Check the local tip, they will probably have some kicking around there Big problem in Aus is postage kills everything, just cost prohibitive

Hi Darren,

Yes lots of Powertorque starters are for sale online ,but a complete mower is $10 to $50.

Hi Norm,

Postage isn't too bad for something this size ,$11.30 Aus Wide.

Cheers
Max.

Hi Max, that postage doesn't seem too bad. I guess they had to do something about it
