Hi,
Purchased the RoVer Kens17L a few months back for $1050 with 6 and 10 blade cartridges and a dethatcher cartridge, have since purchased the QC Scarifyer cartridge for $532,
RoVer was in great condition but as I've used more, really like it and as I had some spare time, decided to do some mods.
It came with the original RoVer/Loncin G120F 118cc and it started and ran perfectly but I was really interested in converting to electric start, kits range from $100 to $150.
Anyway, I was trolling on eBay for electric start kits and found the Baumr-AG SX200E 6.5Hp 196cc with already fitted electric start, price was $239 shipped but as a eBay Plus member, saw that I was eligible for a 20% discount code.
Price was then $191.20 shipped, I snapped it after I'd researched specs to see if it'd fit on RoVer Kens17L, I now call it a KensB. The SX200E footprint is identical to the Loncin and most common engines like B&S, Honda etc.
Removed Loncin 118cc and was delighted when the Baumr-AG SX200E slide straight onto the bolt spots, it was a perfect 100% transformation.
First start was with pull cord as I didn't have a battery for it yet, 1st pull and it started, wow. ;^)
I know have plenty of power when I want to use either the de-thather or scarifying cartridges.
I'm now trying to get just over $100 for the excellent Loncin G120F 118cc so it could workout the upgrade cost me less than $95, cheap.
It's recommended to use a 12v 18Ah SLA battery, I was limited with sizing to fit under the engine shaft and shroud, I purchased a 12v 25Ah because of it's dimensions but it was 3mm too tall, I measured once, my bad.

I finished up getting a 12v 9Ah because it was the only size that would fit, engine starts very quickly and the inbuilt charging coil charges at about 13.5v.
They say you can't use a Lithium battery but I may try one at some stage because the footprint is smaller than an equivalent SLA.
