Hi,

I saw a digital height of cut tool on a US website, cost to import was high partly because of shipping, duties etc.

I decided to make similar using aluminium rectangular extrusion rather than a heaviey steel bar.

The beta version turned out well but my next build will be better from mistakes I've made.

Anyway, it gives you an accurate digital reading in inches or mm from 0 to about 26mm.

Hi Ken,
what do you use it for?

Hi NormK,

You place the bar across the bottom of the mower running from bottom of rear roller to bottom of front roller.

You then press the bottom shaft on the bottom of the HOC tool, I have some blue tape on it for demonstation, the top shaft moves up and you locate the screw on the top of the bed knife.

It gives you a 100% accurate height of cut digital measurement.

This is much better and easier to use than the bar that people have with the bolt/nut you adjust to the height you want.

Digital readout from from 0 to about 26mm.

Hi Ken,
Thanks for explaining that my mowing adjustments are in inches not mm

Got you covered, digital reading can be mm or inches, just by a press of a button.

Hi NormK,

These pics might give you a better idea just how simple the Digital Height of Cut device works.
